Web Subscription
Refund Policy: If you’re not satisfied within 3 days of purchase and have only used the service lightly, you can contact us to request a refund. We designed this to protect honest users who want to try a paid plan with confidence.
Light Usage: This refund policy is meant for light testing (for example, just a few images). For approved refunds, we deduct the value of images you’ve already processed (based on our standard rate of about $0.10 per image) and refund the remaining amount for that billing period. For heavy or frequent usage, we may review requests on a case-by-case basis.
Why This Rule Exists: AI image processing is expensive to run. A simple and clear rule for light usage refunds helps us keep prices fair for all users.
Credit Purchase
Refund Policy: For credit packs, refund requests within 3 days of purchase may be approved if you’ve only used a small portion of the credits and are not satisfied.
Lifetime Validity: Credits never expire — buy now and use them whenever you need.
Light Usage for Refunds: When a refund is approved for a credit pack, we subtract the cost of credits you’ve already used (calculated at about $0.10 per processed image) and refund the unused value. For larger or long-term usage, we may evaluate requests individually.
API Key Purchase
Uniqueness: Each API key is provisioned for a specific account and infrastructure setup.
Refunds: In most cases, API keys are non-refundable once issued, because they unlock higher-volume developer access. This is why we strongly recommend testing with the Web version first.
Recommendation: Before purchasing API access, please validate image quality, speed and reliability using the Web version and your free credits.

📋 Subscription Cancellation
• You can cancel your subscription at any time.
• After cancellation, you won’t be charged in the next billing cycle.
• Your current cycle remains active until it expires, so you keep any remaining access you already paid for.
You can cancel your subscription in just a few clicks from your Account page after signing in (Account → Subscription). If you have trouble accessing your account or run into any issues, please email service@removehandwriting.ai and we’ll help you cancel it — no phone calls, no long forms.
🛡️ Service Availability & Extra Protection
Uptime Commitment
- We work hard to keep the service available and to fix issues quickly.
- Our target is that RemoveHandwriting should not be continuously unavailable for more than 7 days.
What "Unavailable" Means
- You can’t log in or use the core upload / processing features for an extended period under normal network conditions.
- This does not include planned maintenance with prior notice, issues with your own device or network, third-party outages (CDN/cloud/payment), or force majeure events.
Exceptional Refunds for Subscriptions
- If our service is continuously unavailable for more than 7 days due to our fault, active subscribers can request a refund for that billing cycle.
- This does not apply to one-time purchases or free trial credits.
- Requests should be submitted within 30 days after the incident period.
- We’ll review and process such cases within 5-10 business days and refund to your original payment method.
How to Request in This Case
Send an email from your account email to service@removehandwriting.ai, including the affected dates and a short description (screenshots or error codes optional).
For refunds described on this page, you only pay for the images you actually processed (approximately $0.10 per image) and we refund the remaining eligible amount. Limitation of Liability: Outside of the clear commitments on this page, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the affected billing cycle.
⚠️ Fair Use & Abuse Policy
To keep pricing fair and the service stable for everyone, we need to protect against clear abuse or automated misuse.
What Counts as Abuse
- Using automation scripts, bots, or any automated tools to access the Web service at scale without an API plan.
- Reverse engineering, hacking, or attempting to bypass our security or API protocols.
- Programmatic access that clearly exceeds normal human usage without proper API authorization.
- Any other intentional misuse that seriously harms service stability or violates our acceptable use policy.
Consequences in Abuse Cases
- In clear cases of abuse, we may refuse refund requests and suspend or block access to protect normal users.
- We may charge for abusive usage based on our standard or API pricing if the service was consumed at scale.
- For subscribers, if abusive usage exceeds the amount paid, we may ask you to settle the difference before fully closing the account.
- In other edge cases, we’ll make a reasonable final decision based on the evidence we have, always aiming to stay fair to normal users.
Monitoring & Detection
We log image processing operations to detect obvious abuse patterns (e.g. automated scraping). By using our service, you agree that we may analyze high-level usage patterns to keep the platform reliable for all users.
